Go to these Web sites and spend a few moments looking carefully at pictures of people complaining. What do you notice about the people’s faces? their hands? Discuss how people must feel when they complain. Then allow each family member time to give an answer to the following questions:
Why would God not want us to complain?
How does God respond to us when we complain to him?
What can we do instead of complaining? Why would that be better for us?
Close your eyes and spend a few moments in quiet meditation. Think of ways you can handle stressful situations without complaining.
