At the Travel and Leisure Web site, you will find a list of the world’s “Best” awards–best service, best hotels, and so on. There is an old saying: “Find the best for the money.” If you were to plan a trip, would you want to find the best hotels, restaurants, and attractions for the money you had to spend? Why or why not? If you were planning a trip for the President of the United States or the Queen of England, how would you choose their accommodations?
Discuss the following questions as a family:
Do you think it was important to the hotel owners listed on the Travel and Leisure “Best List” to have been chosen? Why or why not?
Why is it customary to situate great leaders in the best accommodations?
What makes Jesus a good leader for all times? Does he deserve our best? Why?
How can we serve God by giving him our best?
Ask a family member to lead a prayer in which you commit to excellence in your Christian walk.

Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night.”
