Read the story of the “wordless book.” Each page shows you a different color and then tells you a story. What does the wordless book say we should do with sin? Then what does God do? Have you ever believed and received the Lord Jesus so you could become God’s child?

Follow the steps at the Christian Crafter Web page to make a “wordless cross” that is much like the story you just read. How can this cross help you tell others about the good news of Jesus?
Read Psalm 51:9-10. Discuss the following questions:
• How do you think God makes our hearts clean again after sin is confessed?
• According to verse 10, how does having a clean heart help a person’s spirit?
• How do you think God feels when we say we’re sorry for our sins?Place the wordless cross that you made in the center of your kitchen or dining room table. Let each family member put one hand over the cross, laying hands one on top of another. Bow your heads, and without talking out loud, thank Jesus for the wordless and timeless message of the Cross.

Get them inside of you and then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night.”
