Welcome to our GRACE at Home workshop and study for Fall 2010!
Sunday Night Workshop, 5:00pm to 6:45pm
Join us for a Financial Peace University (FPU) workshop. FPU is Dave Ramsey’s life-changing program that teaches you to achieve your financial goals with Christian values emphasized by eliminating debt, saving for the future, and giving like never before. The goal of Financial Peace University is not just information—we’re looking for transformation.
Class members meet with their class each week to watch a video lesson and participate in discussion groups. Dave’s style is simple and easy to understand. He will change the way you think about money. You’ll actually have fun as you learn!
Getting involved in Financial Peace University is an easy two-step process.
1) Start by joining the class offered by Redland Baptist Church on Sunday evenings from 5:00pm to 6:45pm.
2) Purchase your lifetime membership, which includes the course materials and allows you and your spouse the ability to attend an FPU class anytime, anywhere, at no extra charge. The cost is $93.00 per membership kit.
Wednesday Night Study, 6:30pm to 7:30pm
Join us on Wednesday’s for a GRACE at Home Study on answers to questions about creation, dinosaurs, and the Bible. We will journey through the book, “The New Answers Book,” by Ken Ham and the Answers in Genesis group. We will discover answers from a biblical perceptive. Study guides will be provided for no cost. Hello, my name is Rev. Bobby Cook and I am the Associate Pastor for Family Ministry. Family Ministry at Redland Baptist Church is a holistic and intergenerational approach to ministry. Leading the church to come alongside of parents to encourage, equip, and empower them to be the primary disciplers at home to reach this and future generations through the ministries of children, youth, and recreation.
This blog is one tool we use to pursue our purpose in Family Ministry for families to live out Deuteronomy 6:4-7. “Attention, Israel! God, our God! God the one and only! Love God, your God, with your whole heart: love him with all that’s in you, love him with all you’ve got! Write these commandments that I’ve given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you and then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night.”
