Then people figured out how to do it, and a man actually stepped out on the moon! But before he could do that, he had to believe that it could happen. Why does the key to eternal life seem like a mystery to so many people? What’s the solution to the mystery of eternal life?
Read John 3:1-17. How did Jesus explain eternal life to Nicodemus?
Consider this question as a family: Who is the giver of life, not just life on this earth, but eternal life in heaven? Softly repeat the name of Jesus several times as a family; then spend a few moments in silent prayer.

July 2010 Mass Sunday School Line-Up

Every year in the month of July we give adult Sunday School teachers a break from teaching and a chance to soak in Bible Study. This years theme is Finding Your SHAPE within your: Family, Yourself, Community, and Church. The theme will be a catalyst leading to our studies in the Fall. We hope every Redlander will better know where God has gifted them so they may serve in the area of their passion and spiritual giftedness.
We are excited to welcome our speakers for the July classes.
- July 4- “Family” with Gayla Parker
- July 11- “Yourself” with Roger Price
- July 18-”Community” with Ellen Udovich
- July 25-”Church” with Freddy Parker

Hello, my name is Rev. Bobby Cook and I am the Associate Pastor for Family Ministry. Family Ministry at Redland Baptist Church is a holistic and intergenerational approach to ministry. This blog is one tool we use to pursue our purpose in Family Ministry for families to live out Deuteronomy 6:4-7. “Attention, Israel! God, our God! God the one and only! Love God, your God, with your whole heart: love him with all that’s in you, love him with all you’ve got! Write these commandments that I’ve given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you and then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night.”
